the almighty bocas of buenos aires taking on godoy cruz in the local mendoza stadium. incredible energy.. i would call it madness in fact. singing the entire game... running banners the length of the stands so people could stand on the restraining bars and hold onto something to balance and sing and flail wildly... had to clear out an alley at the beginning of the game like the running of the bulls so an especially crazy group of drunk, singing, jumping fans wouldnt kill anyone as they rushed the field... rolls of toilet paper all over the field... bribed our way into the stadium, latin america style, because the tickets had sold out... amazing

one of the best things travelling is playing with kids. no stereotypes you cant overcome, pure smiling faces and a level of skill in soccer that i can keep up with!

my front window view from my van down by the river... its actually a subi in the park. made friends with everyone that works in the park. what a hoot. one of the security guards invited me to an asado, bbq, at his house with his huge family of about 20 kids under 14. wouldnt believe it. they all live in a happy little home, sleep in the same room, listen to dance music really loudly, talk about weed, ´hot chicks´ and sex and call each other gay from time to time. hilarious. the epitomy of a big happy family
