mas argentina sin el mejor medio...

with some sadness and some intoxication we waved ed goodbye.. off to the land of kiwis. what a great nine months it was my buddy. suerte y exito. hasta pronto por supuesto.when the teary eyes cleared i was still in argentina and there were still lots of cows to eat..and watch being lugged out of a truck in half carcas, 400 lb form by a huge smell bloody man and chopped into each different cut of meat. some pieces we chopped off for the next pictures festivites...
mmm... thats about 3 pounds of meat

me in tree with some argentinia flare, in pants form, to support the cause

theyve got more! after the first round victory the streets of iguazu were absolutely insane. i honked about a hundred times and most of the time it was overpowered by backfiring motorcycles, others honking, reving engines and screaming. the center square was so packed with people we could barely get close. and the number of songs they know... they all know.. is incredible.

view from above on a goat track of a little blue hotspings

another nice vista in the northern boondocks of argentina

dried cacti with hole-y and feather light wood and our buddy the potters house behind

lives with his wife and family in the middle of a deserted canyon. has a river for water, clay for his pots, colored soil for painting, chickens, goats for milk and enough wood within reach to fire the kilns. pretty amazingly simple life living off the land... though he does have a little solar panel to run a stereo with some terrible soft rock cds. ha. sis becs potters wheels may be a little more complicated then this homemade special.. but her pots are far better. como estos.. beccavanfleetpottery.com

probably the cutest little girl in the world.. and amazing against all boys on the soccer 'field'. matts getting into it out there

that little guy was sitting on the subi at one point.. beautiful things are just naturally drawn together i guess

iguazu falls
kilometers of connecting trails bring you to vistas all around argentina and just to the left.. brasil. breathtaking.
mmm...
butterflies everywhere in these parts, so many designs and colors just flapping around wanting you to enjoy looking at them for the short time they alive. i think so at least.

any adjective in spanish can be made ever more powerful by adding -isimo to the end of the word. makes for some fantastic words. these ships were somewhere between buenisimo and tremendisimo.

a parting shot from the falls
